The only choice with UserTesting is to lock yourself into an expensive annual subscription starting at around $15,000/year. Loop11 also has annual subscriptions, but our most expensive plan is just $2,270/year.

Loop11's 14 day free trial lets you launch up to three full scale projects. This gives you time to try our features, share the product with your team, and see if it's right for your needs. UserTesting has no free trial period, so committing to a 12 month contract is risky without the ability to see and experience the product first.

Unlimited Options vs Restrictions

Loop11's Pro subscription puts no limit on the number of projects you can run each month. There are also no limits on the number of participants per project - you can have 1,000 if you want to! And you can run as many projects concurrently as you need - across desktop, tablet or mobile. UserTesting puts restrictions on all these features. You’ll need to pay more for each one.

Robust quantitative metrics vs basic insights

Quant metrics are part of the Loop11 DNA. Compared to UserTesting, Loop11 offers more sophisticated reporting on quantitative metrics like time on task, clickstream analysis, heatmaps, System Usability Scale (SUS), Net Promotor Score (NPS) and more. Our metrics are based on larger sample sizes, making them more reliable.

Loop11 has integrations and partnerships with dedicated recruitment tools to help you source the right participants for your user tests. It's also free to use your own list of customers, social media followers or newsletter subscribers. Although UserTesting makes this possible too, they only offer it to their higher tier subscriptions starting at $30,000.
