How much does it cost?

Running a user testing project only costs USD $350. A project consists of the following:

An unlimited number of task and questions
No limit on duration or length
Up to 1,000 participants
Real-time reporting

Is there any software to download?

No. There is no need for you or your participants to download any kind of software or place code on your website. Requiring participants to download software results in low participation and completion rates. We’ll never make anyone download software or install code!

Can I test my competitors’ websites?

You sure can! Because we do not require you to insert code into your website you can run user tests on any website, including your competitors. It’s the perfect way to run benchmarking studies!

How many participants can I have in a project?

You can have up to 1,000 participants in any user testing project.

A large number of participants allows you to quantify many usability metrics that were previously not possibly from small samples of, say 8 participants. With a sample of this size segmenting your data by experienced versus inexperienced users, for example, is also easy to do.

Where can I access participants?

To ensure you find participants that meet your specific criteria rather than using any old random sample of people, we leave it up to you to source them. If you need participants from a market research panel (which is the best way to get participants that meet your specific criteria) we have provided details of a number of panels around the world throughout the set-up process.

What information is provided in the reports?

All of the following is provided in the reporting:

Task completion rate
Time per task
Most common success page
Most common fail page
Most common first click
Most common navigation path
Detailed participant path analysis
Number of page views to complete tasks

Can I launch a user test to have a practice before I pay for one?

Yes! Your first user test is free. However, we have limited this user test to a maximum of 5 tasks and 2 questions and the data will only be stored for 7 days. Note: when you pay for a user test none of these restrictions apply.
